Why make a website about my so called man cave?  Why not?  One reason is that it was a fun project.  I gutted the existing basement (because it was in a state of disrepair) and carved out my own cave.  This also gave me the opportunity to run my own wiring for Internet, TV, and sound. 

I learned many things while working on this project.  In retrospect, I would have done a lot of things differently.  This knowledge may help others in making the perfect cave in their basement the first time around.  In fact, this knowledge has already helped me to help others on other basement remodels.
